- 1 cup ponnai or matta rice
- Wash the rice well.
- Spread the rice into a small towel to dry.
- Dry roast the rice in a pan until golden brown in a medium flame.
- Remove from the heat and let it cool.
- 10 pcs cashew
- Dry roast them also.
- Grind the rice into fine powder.
- Then the cashews into fine powder.
- Mix in a bowl.
- 6 tbsp jaggery
- 6 tbsp grated coconut
- Grind it for one or 2 pulse. (Do not not make it into a paste)
- Mix into the dry powder.
- Add salt to taste.
- Mix well using your hand.
- Take some of the mixture shape them into lime sized balls.
