- 1 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tsp dry yeast
- 1 tbsp honey
- 55 gms butter
- 3 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method:
- Place the warm water in a large and sprinkle the yeast on top. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Add the honey and butter.
- Add 1 cup of flour and the salt until moistened. Mix with a spatula.
- Then add another 2 cups to 2 1/2 , until dough pulls away cleanly from the sides of the bowl.
- Knead on floured surface , until dough is smooth.
- Place dough is large greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
- Let it rise for 1 to 2 hours.
- Lightly spray or apply oil to loaf pan.
- Place the dough in the loaf and cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C for 10 minutes.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when lightly tapped.
