- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp powdered cinnamon
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- Remove 2 tbsp of flour and add the cocoa into it.
- Sieve the flour, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder and cinnamon.
- Whisk in a bowl.
- Keep it aside.
- 2 stick butter (226 gms)
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- In a large bowl or stand mixer add the butter (@ room temperature) cut into small pieces.
- Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Add the vanilla essence and eggs.
- Beat the them until creamed together for 2 to 3 minutes on a medium high speed.
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Mix on low speed until well combined.
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- Add the oats and chocolate chips.
- Mix well.
- Cover and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at175C.
- Line the baking sheet on a baking tray.
- Using ice cream scoop lay the leaving little space between them.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool in the baking tray for few minutes.
- Cookies stay fresh for a week.
