- 1/2 cup(113 gms) butter
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs at room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup buttermilk

Method:
- Melt the butter and chocolate chips over low heat and until smooth. Keep aside.
- Add both sugars and whisk well.
- Once cooled add the eggs and vanilla essence and mix well.
- In a medium bowl sieve the dry ingredients.
- Add the cooled chocolate/egg mix.
- Mix buttermilk into it.
- Stir until just combined.
- Do not over mix.
- Preheat the oven 175C for 10 minutes.
- Pour the batter into the cupcake cake liners using ice cream scoop.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
