- 175 grams chocolate chip
- 175 grams butter
- 125 grams sugar
- 4 eggs separated
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 grams flour
- 125 grams almond powder( powder the almonds)
- 1 tsp almond essence

Toping:
- 4 tbsp icing sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp of cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp of water

Method:
Method:
- Melt the butter with chocolate chips in a small pan.
- Beat 100 grams of sugar with egg yolks and whisk until pale and creamy.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture, beating until well combined.
- Sieve the flour and almond powder with baking powder.
- Fold into the chocolate mixture .
- Whisk the egg whites in a bowl with the remaining sugar until standing into soft peaks.
- Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture and spoon into the tin.
- Bake in a preheated oven ,175C for 40 minutes. Let it cool.
Toping:
- Melt the butter with the cocoa powder.
- Mix in the icing sugar with water into it.
- Mix well.
- Spread the topping over the cake , only if it the cake is cool.
- If needed scatter with the almonds flaks with melted chocolate.
- Leave for 2 hours before serving.
