Ingredients:
- cup butter melted
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
For Frosting:
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Method:
- In a bowl of stand mixer combine melted butter and cocoa powder, mix on medium speed.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Beat until thickened and smooth.
- Add in sugar.
- Beat until well mixed and add in flour.
- Mix until combined.
- Preheat the oven @ 175C for 10 minutes.
- Spread in a pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Frosting:
- While the brownies are baking , prepare the frosting.
- Beat butter and cocoa powder tother.
- Add in water.
- Add the powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
Allow the brownies to cool for about 10-15 minutes and then spread the frosting.
The brownies will still be warm. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
