Spring rolls

  •  Heat oil, strir fry ginger and garlic till light brown. 
    • 1 tbsp ginger chopped into small pieces.
    • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
    • 3 tbsp oil
  • Add spring onion, cabbage and carrot. Stir fry for few minutes.
    • 2 spring onions with leaves chopped
    • 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
    • 1 cup thinly sliced carrot
  • Add green chillies and chicken into it. Stir fry few more minutes.
    • 2 green chilles sliced
    • 1 cup chicken shredded or chopped in the chopper
  • Add salt, soya sauce  and pepper into it. Stir fry for few minutes.
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tbsp soya sauce
    • 1 tsp pepper
  • Keep it aside to cool.
  • Mix together egg, salt, cornflour and flour. Keep it aside for an hour.
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup cornflour
    • salt to taste
  • Heat a pan and make thin pancakes by cooking only one side.
  • Keep the filling on the cooked side. Fold the edge over and roll half way.
  • Fold both sides towards the center. Roll further and seal.
    • One can either fry directly or dip in beaten egg and roll over bread crumbs.
    • And then fry.
      • 1 egg beaten
      • required bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry the spring roll till brown. Drain the oil on  paper.

Tomato Chutney

  •  Heat oil. Add dry red chilies and fry few secs.
    • 1tsp sesame oil
    • 3 red dry red chilies 

  • Heat oil , add sliced onion fry for minutes until the onions soft. Add chopped tomatoes and fry for sometime. Then add ginger, garlic, few curry leaves and green chilie and fry for few minutes. Fry few minutes and remove from heat, let it cool.
    • 3 tbsp Oil/Sesame
    • 2 sliced onion
    • 3 big tomatoes
    • 1/4 tsp sliced ginger
    • 4 cloves of garlic
    • 1 green chilies slice
    • 1 spring of curry leaves

  • Grind to paste.
  • Heat oil , add mustard  and curry leaves. Add the paste with water and salt.
    • 1 tsp mustard seeds
    • Few springs of curry leaves
  • Boil once. Have it with dosa or idli.
