What I need to bake:
- 2 beetroot pureed roughly around 200 gms
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 250 ml oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 soda bicarbonate
- 6 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
How I mix:
- In a large bowl pour the beetroot puree.
- Add the sugar and oil.
- Add the eggs one by one.
- Then add the vanilla essence.
- Mix with a electric beater until well mixed.
- In another bowl sieve flour, cocoa, salt and soda bicarbonate.
- Add to the creamed mixture the dry ingredients.
- And mix well.
- Preheat the oven @ 175 C.
- Pour the mixture into a greased tin or lined by baking sheet.
- Bake it until a tooth pick comes out clean for 30 minutes.
